What we do

The Bed Bug Network is a matching service. We pass your request to an independent pest control contractor who covers your area so they can contact you with a quote. We do not carry out bed bug treatment ourselves.

Using our service is free for homeowners, tenants and landlords. You are under no obligation to accept any quote you receive.

If you decide to book a treatment, your contract is directly between you and the contractor. The contractor is responsible for the quote, the work, their own terms and conditions, any guarantee they offer, and their insurance. Payment for the work is made to the contractor, not to us.

Our contractors

We check contractors before they join the network and monitor them while they are members, as described on our How we vet page. We cannot guarantee the outcome of any treatment, and our vetting does not replace your own judgement. Before booking, you should satisfy yourself about the contractor’s price, method and terms.

If you are unhappy with a contractor we matched you with, please tell us. We will look into it and, where appropriate, review that contractor’s membership.

The guides and other content on this site are general information about bed bugs and treatment options. They are not professional advice for your specific situation. We aim to keep the information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that it is complete or current.

Using the website

You must give accurate information when you submit a form and must not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission.

You must not misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or using automated tools to collect data from it.

All content and branding on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal use but may not copy or republish them for commercial purposes without our permission.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Because our service is free and the treatment contract is between you and the contractor, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, work or prices of any contractor, or for any loss arising from your contract with them.

We are not liable for any loss caused by the website being unavailable, or by a virus or other technologically harmful material, where we have taken reasonable care to prevent it.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
